Ernie Steury was a physician and Christian missionary to Kenya. Steury was born in Berne, Indiana in 1930 to David and Mary Habegger Steury.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/INWELLS/2004-02/1076040852 )〕 In 1948, while attending a church service in his hometown, Steury became a Christian.
